How do I clean my Chilewich placemats and floor mats?
Most of our woven textiles can be cleaned simply with warm water, mild soap, and a soft sponge. For stubborn stains, a soft-bristle brush may be used. Always air dry and avoid machine washing or ironing.
Are Chilewich products suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, many of our products are specifically designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Our woven vinyl yarns are resistant to mold, mildew, and chlorine, making them ideal for patios and poolside dining.
What is the standard shipping timeframe for orders?
Orders typically process within 1-2 business days. Standard ground shipping generally takes 3-7 business days depending on your location within the United States.
What is your return policy for home goods?
We accept returns for unused items in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Please note that custom-sized floor mats and final sale items are not eligible for return.
Do your floor mats require a rug pad?
Our Shag Plus and Woven floor mats feature a durable latex or vinyl backing that provides inherent slip resistance. However, for added cushioning or use on certain high-gloss surfaces, a rug pad may be used.
Are Chilewich products eco-friendly?
We are committed to sustainability. Our products are made using TerraStrand® yarns, which are 100% phthalate-free and contain 25% renewable vegetable content. Our textiles are also Greenguard Gold certified for low chemical emissions.
